Dr. Becker's QUINCE LIQUEUR is handcrafted in small batches, bottled, and lovingly labeled. There are many different processes and types of spirits. We have opted for a complex manufacturing process: immersion. The production of Dr. Becker's QUINCE LIQUEUR therefore requires many steps. However, the basis of our high-quality KITTEINA LIQUEUR is always hand-picked, fully ripe, and aromatic fruits. For our QUINCE LIQUEUR, the labels are additionally hand-stamped with the bottle batch number and subjected to a final human inspection.
Production: After careful harvesting and cleaning, the fruit is soaked. The fruit is placed in the prepared alcohol. Ripening takes about six weeks. During this time, the fruit imparts its color and rich flavor to the alcohol. The fruit is then distilled. The resulting fruit distillate is then added to the infusion obtained in the first step. Finally, fresh spring water is added to the liqueur, adjusted to the desired strength and the correct sugar-acid ratio. This gives our Dr. Becker QUINCE LIQUEUR a unique, fruity, harmonious character without artificial flavors or colors.
